TODAY...

.SOUTH WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE THIS MORNING...AHEAD OF AN
APPROACHING COLD FRONT. THE PERSISTENT AND GUSTY WINDS WILL
GENERATE LARGE WAVES ON LAKE MICHIGAN. WIND WILL VEER TO THE WEST-
NORTHWEST THIS EVENING.

* WAVES...2 TO 4 FT BUILDING TO 3 TO 6 FT THIS AFTERNOON. THE
  LARGEST WAVES ARE EXPECTED NORTH OF ALGOMA. WAVES SHOULD
  SUBSIDE TO 2 TO 4 FT BY LATE IN THE EVENING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OVER 20 KNOTS OR
WAVES GREATER THAN 4 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS
CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY
THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE
CONDITIONS.
