TODAY...

.SOUTH WINDS WILL INCREASE THIS MORNING...AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING
COLD FRONT. THE PERSISTENT AND GUSTY WINDS WILL GENERATE LARGE
WAVES ON LAKE MICHIGAN. WIND WILL VEER TO THE WEST- NORTHWEST
THIS EVENING.

* WINDS...SOUTH WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15 TO 25 KTS BY MID- DAY...
  VEERING SOUTHWEST THIS AFTERNOON...AND DIMINISHING TO 10 TO 20
  KTS BY EARLY EVENING.

* WAVES...BUILDING TO 2 TO 4 FT ON THE BAY...TO 3 TO 5 FT ON LAKE
  MICHIGAN. WAVES WILL SLOWLY EASE BY TONIGHT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OVER 20 KNOTS OR
WAVES GREATER THAN 4 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS
CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY
THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE
CONDITIONS.
