...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CST SUNDAY...
...GALE WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 9 PM CST SUNDAY...

* WINDS...Southeast to 30 knots, veering southwest after midnight.
Winds will become west to 35 knots with gusts to 45 knots Sunday
morning. Winds will slowly diminish Sunday afternoon.

* WAVES...Building 6 to 9 feet late this evening on ice free
areas. Waves will subside to 3 to 5 feet Sunday afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds around 35 knots or greater are
expected. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds over 20 knots or
waves greater than 4 feet are expected to produce hazardous
conditions to small craft. Inexperienced mariners, especially
those operating smaller vessels should avoid navigating in these
conditions.
