.DENSE FOG WILL LINGER OVER THE NEARSHORE WATERS THROUGH THE
MORNING AS THE BAGGY GRADIENT AROUND WEAKENING LOW PRESSURE SLOWLY PASSES
TO THE EAST THIS MORNING. WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE
BEHIND THE LOW AND APPROACHING HIGH PRESSURE...RESULTING IN THE
NEED FOR A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FROM NOON UNTIL TONIGHT.

SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IS NOW IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 9 PM CST
THIS EVENING.

* WINDS: LIGHT EARLY THIS MORNING BECOMING WEST 5 TO 10 KNOTS MID-
  MORNING...SHIFTING NORTHWEST AND INCREASING TO 15 TO 25 KNOTS
  EARLY IN THE AFTERNOON.

* WAVES: WAVES 2 TO 4 FEET WITH THE HIGHER WAVES TOWARD OPEN
  WATER.

* VISIBILITY: LESS THAN 1 MILE THIS MORNING...RISING TO ABOVE 1
  MILE AROUND NOON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 23 TO 33 KNOTS
AND/OR WAVES GREATER THAN 4 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE
HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...
ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID
NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE
REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE MILE. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...
ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID
