...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a Dense
Fog Advisory...which is in effect until 10 AM EST this morning.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * Dense fog, with visibilities under a quarter mile, will slowly
   spread northward into the I-94 area by 5 to 6 am then continue
   north of I-94 by 8 am.

 * Since many areas have temperatures below freezing black ice may
   be a issue. Especially on bridges and overpasses.


IMPACTS...

 * Motorists should expect very low visibility, in some cases only
   a few car lenght. If driving...slow down...use your low beam
   headlights...and leave plenty of stopping distance ahead of
   you.

 * Since temperatures are below freezing in some area, road
   surfaces may have ice on them. Be prepared for icy spots on the
   roads.
