...STRENGTHENING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TO BRING SNOW AND WIND TO
THE AREA MONDAY...

.A STORM SYSTEM IN THE MID MISSISSIPPI VALLEY WILL WILL MOVE INTO
THE GREAT LAKES MONDAY. AS IT INTENSIFIES...RAIN AND DRIZZLE WILL
CHANGE TO SNOW LATE TONIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING WITH A BRIEF
MIXTURE OF SLEET POSSIBLE. NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 20 TO
35 MPH WITH SOME GUSTS TO NEAR 40 MPH. THE INITIAL SNOW WILL MELT
UNTIL TEMPERATURES AND THE GROUND FALL BELOW FREEZING. LOCALIZED
PATCHY BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW IS POSSIBLE BY AFTERNOON AS
TEMPERATURES FALL FURTHER.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH MONDAY
  MORNING THROUGH MID AFTERNOON.

* IMPACTS...AS TEMPERATURES FALL WELL BELOW FREEZING...ROADS MAY
  BECOME SNOW AND ICE COVERED AND SLIPPERY...ESPECIALLY DURING
