THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL COLORADO...
EXTREME SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA AND NORTHWEST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

SNOWFALL WILL DEVELOP OVER THE TRI-STATE AREA TONIGHT FROM WEST TO
EAST. MOST OF THE SNOWFALL TONIGHT WILL OCCUR AFTER MIDNIGHT.
EASTERLY WINDS WILL GUST 25-30 MPH FOR THE SOUTHWEST HALF OF THE
AREA WHERE THE LIGHTER SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE...PRODUCING SOME
BLOWING SNOW WEST OF HIGHWAY 25 AND SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 36. VISIBILITIES
AROUND A MILE CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE BLOWING SNOW. MINOR TRAVEL
IMPACTS SHOULD BE EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

SNOWFALL WILL CONTINUE INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING BEFORE
DIMINISHING. TOTAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF THREE TO FOUR INCHES WILL
OCCUR NORTH OF I-70 AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 83. THE BLOWING SNOW WILL
DIMINISH WEDNESDAY MORNING AS SNOW TAPERS OFF AND WINDS DECLINE.

WIND CHILLS WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING OF 10 TO 20 BELOW
ZERO ARE EXPECTED FOR NEARLY ALL THE TRI-STATE AREA.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED. SNOWFALL AND VISIBILITY
