.AN INTENSE UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVING SOUTH THROUGH THE
REGION WILL BRING A COLD AIR MASS FROM CENTRAL CANADA INTO THE
AREA. THE COLD AIR WILL ARRIVE ON STRONG NORTH WINDS.

CDT FRIDAY...

* TIMING...WINDS WILL BEGIN TO INCREASE THIS EVENING...BUT THE
  STRONGEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED FRIDAY MORNING BETWEEN 6 AM AND
  NOON.

* WINDS...NORTH WINDS WITH SUSTAINED SPEEDS OF 25 TO 40 MPH ARE
  EXPECTED TONIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING. GUSTS TO AROUND 50 MPH ARE
  LIKELY...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE SHORE OF THE BAY FROM FISH CREEK
  NORTHEAST TO WASHINGTON ISLAND.

* IMPACTS...THE WINDS WILL MAKE DRIVING HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES
  DIFFICULT...AND COULD ALSO RESULT IN SOME POWER OUTAGES IF
  TREES ARE BLOWN DOWN ON POWER LINES. IN ADDITION...SNOW
  SHOWERS FRIDAY MORNING COULD RESULT IN SLIPPERY ROADWAYS.
