This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

A modest heat event is possible Monday and Tuesday with heat
indices approaching 100 degrees near and around Valentine to Butte
Monday, and then in portions of north central Nebraska Tuesday.

Spotty strong to briefly severe thunderstorms could form across
far western Nebraska late Monday afternoon to Monday evening.
Large hail and damaging winds are the main hazards.

Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible across the
Sandhills and northern Nebraska late Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday
evening. Large hail, locally heavy rainfall, and wind damage are
the main hazard.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible at times
Wednesday and beyond, however, the threat for organized severe
storms is low.
