...RECENT HEAVY SNOW IN THE RUBY MOUNTAINS TO INCREASE FLOWS ON
LAMOILLE CREEK...

THE RECENT STORM THAT AFFECTED NORTHERN NEVADA WITH RAIN IN THE
VALLEYS DROPPED ONE TO TWO FEET OF SNOW IN THE RUBY MOUNTAINS.
HIGH PRESSURE WILL QUICKLY BUILD OVER THE GREAT BASIN OVER THE
WEEKEND WITH AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES CLIMBING RAPIDLY INTO THE MID
TO UPPER 70S BY MONDAY. THIS WILL LEAD TO A QUICK MELTING OF SNOW
AT THE HIGHEST ELEVATIONS IN THE RUBIES, WHICH WILL CAUSE RUNOFF
INTO LAMOILLE CREEK. ALTHOUGH FLOODING IS NOT FORECAST FOR THE
CREEK AT THIS TIME, HIGHER FLOWS CAN BE EXPECTED. STAY TUNED TO
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND
UPDATES.
