WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE AVERAGING 30.1 INCHES
EXTENDING FROM THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLE NORTHEAST THROUGH THE
TENNESSEE VALLEY AND TO THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES WILL SHIFT EAST
TODAY...WHILE LOW PRESSURE OF 29.9 INCHES QUICKLY DROPS SOUTHEAST
THROUGH THE PLAINS AND MID MISSISSIPPI VALLEY. THIS LOW WILL
CONTINUE TO WEAKEN AS IT MOVES TO THE OHIO VALLEY TONIGHT...AS
HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.6 INCHES BUILDS SOUTH OVER THE NORTHERN
PLAINS. THIS HIGH WILL BUILD SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE UPPER MIDWEST
AND MID MISSISSIPPI VALLEY ON THURSDAY AND THEN SOUTHEAST TO THE
TENNESSEE VALLEY THURSDAY NIGHT...BEFORE MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST
ATLANTIC COAST FRIDAY. LOW PRESSURE OF 29.7 INCHES OVER THE
NORTHERN PLAINS WILL MOVE EAST TO LAKE SUPERIOR AND SOUTHERN
ONTARIO FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT WHILE STRENGTHENING TO 29.5
INCHES...BEFORE THEN LIFTING NORTHEAST TO QUEBEC SATURDAY INTO
SATURDAY NIGHT.
