The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  West central Fayette County in western Tennessee...
  East central Shelby County in west Tennessee...

* Until 430 AM CDT

* At 235 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in
  the advisory area. Up to one and one half inches of rain has
  already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Bartlett, Cordova, Lakeland, Arlington, Eads, Lenow, Fisherville,
  Elba, Hickory Withe and Canadaville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
