...Hydrologic Outlook for quick rises on rivers and streams
in the following counties in Oregon...Coos...Curry...
.A strong front will gradually push into the area tonight and Sunday.
This front will bring heavy rain to coastal areas with 2 to 6 inches
of rainfall expected. Significant rises are expected on area rivers and
streams Sunday and Monday. Some streams and rivers may rise to near
bankfull. However no flooding is expected at this time.
A flood potential outlook is issued when there is the potential for
significant rises or flooding along rivers and streams.
The hydrologic outlook will be updated Sunday afternoon.
The exact scenario for flooding remains uncertainty but there is the
potential for flooding. Watches and warnings will be issued by the
National Weather Service if this situation worsens.
