THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SNOW WILL CONTINUE ALONG THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE TODAY WHERE ANOTHER
2 TO 5 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE EASTERN SAN JUANS...LA
GARITAS...AND THE WESTERN SAWATCH AND EASTERN MOSQUITO RANGES. AN
ADDITIONAL 2 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG THE CREST OF
THE SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS TODAY.  ALTHOUGH WINDS WILL BE
LIGHTER...NORTHWEST WINDS 15 TO 30 MPH WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE AREAS
OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS AND
MOUNTAIN PASSES.

A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE PLAINS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING
BRINGING A CHANCE FOR SNOW SHOWERS TO THE PIKES PEAK REGION AND
PALMER DIVIDE DURING THE AFTERNOON...SPREADING SOUTHWARD INTO THE
SOUTHERN I-25 CORRIDOR AND NORTHERN RATON MESA SLOPES DURING THE
EVENING. ALTHOUGH ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD GENERALLY REMAIN
LIGHT...SPOTTY AREAS COULD PICK UP AN INCH OR TWO OF ACCUMULATION
BEFORE THE SNOW DECREASES LATE TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

ACCUMULATING LIGHT SNOW IS POSSIBLE OVER THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE
AND HIGHER TERRAIN LOCATIONS AT TIMES FROM WEDNESDAY INTO
THURSDAY. AT THIS TIME, IT APPEARS THAT ADDITIONAL SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS FROM SUNRISE WEDNESDAY UNTIL SUNSET THURSDAY SHOULD
RUN FROM TRACE AMOUNTS TO AROUND 2 INCHES OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND
HIGHER TERRAIN LOCATIONS.

WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT MEET REPORTING CRITERIA FOR SPOTTERS WILL BE
LIKELY TODAY AND TONIGHT ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS AND ADJACENT PLAINS.
