...DEVELOPING WINTER STORM MAY BRING HEAVY SNOW TO THE NORTHERN
   BLACK HILLS AND BEAR LODGE MOUNTAINS...

.A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL DEVELOP TODAY ACROSS EASTERN MONTANA.
THIS SYSTEM WILL THEN STRENGTHEN AS IT MOVES INTO THE DAKOTAS
TONIGHT...THEN STALL ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS MONDAY. RAIN WILL
DEVELOP ACROSS THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...CHANGING TO
SNOW LATE TONIGHT. RAIN WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE NORTHERN BLACK
HILLS AND BEAR LODGE MOUNTAINS THIS AFTERNOON...THEN CHANGE TO
SNOW BY THIS EVENING. GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP TONIGHT
ENHANCING SNOWFALL ACROSS THESE AREAS. SNOW WILL THEN CONTINUE
THROUGH MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT...FINALLY TAPERING OFF TUESDAY
MORNING AS DRIER AIR MOVES IN.

THIS SLOW MOVING SYSTEM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE 6 TO 12
INCHES OF SNOW WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. THE HEAVIEST
SNOW IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR IN THE CHEYENNE CROSSING TO ONEIL PASS
INTO THE FOUR CORNERS AREA.

  EVENING AND CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY INTO TUESDAY MORNING.

* MAIN HAZARD...6 TO 12 INCHES OF SNOW POSSIBLE WITH LOCALLY
  HIGHER AMOUNTS.

* IMPACTS...WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY SNOW...TRAVEL MAY BE
  HINDERED.
