nautical miles including Virginia portion of the Chesapeake Bay,
Currituck Sound and portions of the James, York, and Rappahannock
Rivers...
A secondary, strong cold front crosses the waters this evening,
bringing a period of elevated winds, waves, and seas through
midday Tuesday. High pressure then builds south of the region for
the mid to late week period. Another low pressure system and its
associated cold front may impact the area late Friday into next
weekend.
