   GMZ001-241445-  Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico  1045 PM EDT Wed Aug 23 2017      .SYNOPSIS...Tropical Depression Harvey is centered near 21.9N  92.6W 1002 mb at 11 PM EDT, drifting NW, or 325 degrees at 2 kt.  Maximum sustained winds are 30 kt gusting to 40 kt. Harvey is  forecast to intensify to tropical storm near 22.8N 93.1W at  sunrise on Thu, and continue to gradually strengthen throughout  Thu and Fri reaching minimal hurricane strength near 26.6N 96.3W  around sunset on Fri, and move inland Texas near 28.5N 97.5W  around sunset on Sat. The remnant low of Harvey will move E  across the northern coastal plains through early next week.    $$
   GMZ011-241445-  NW Gulf including Stetson Bank-  1045 PM EDT Wed Aug 23 2017    TROPICAL STORM WARNING    OVERNIGHT  E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 5 ft.  THU  NE to E winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 ft, building to 10 ft  in the afternoon. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.  THU NIGHT   TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. E winds 25 to  30 kt. Seas 15 to 18 ft. Scattered showers and isolated  thunderstorms.  FRI   TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS EXPECTED. E winds 35 to 45 kt,  becoming E to SE 45 to 55 kt in the afternoon. Seas 23 to 25 ft.  Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.  FRI NIGHT   HURRICANE CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. SE to S winds 50 to  60 kt. Seas 23 ft, subsiding to 17 ft late. Scattered showers  and isolated thunderstorms.  SAT   TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE.  SAT NIGHT   TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE.  SUN   TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE.  SUN NIGHT   TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE.  MON   TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE.  MON NIGHT  SW to W winds 20 to 25 kt.
