 SEAS ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE  HIGHEST ONE THIRD OF THE WAVES...ALONG WITH THE OCCASIONAL  HEIGHT OF THE AVERAGE HIGHEST TEN PERCENT OF THE WAVES.        GMZ400-251030-  SYNOPSIS FOR LOWER ATCHAFALAYA RIVER LA TO HIGH ISLAND TX OUT  60 NM INCLUDING SABINE AND CALCASIEU LAKES AND VERMILION BAY  331 PM CST TUE JAN 24 2017      .SYNOPSIS...  ONSHORE WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15-20 KNOTS BY THIS EVENING IN  RESPONSE TO A TIGHTENING PRESSURE GRADIENT ASSOCIATED WITH AN  APPROACHING COLD FRONT. THE FRONT WILL PUSH THROUGH THE AREA  WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING, ACCOMPANIED BY SCATTERED SHOWERS  AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. BEHIND THE FRONT WINDS WILL TURN  OFFSHORE AND INCREASE TO 20-25 GUSTING TO 30 KNOTS WEDNESDAY NIGHT  INTO THURSDAY MORNING. A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY WILL LIKELY BE  NEEDED FOR THIS TIME FRAME. WINDS WILL RELAX BY THURSDAY  AFTERNOON, AND REMAIN LIGHT TO MODEST FROM THE NORTH THROUGH THE  WEEKEND.    $$
