   GMZ400-280415-  Synopsis for Lower Atchafalaya River LA to High Island TX out  60 NM including Sabine and Calcasieu Lakes and Vermilion Bay  1025 AM CDT Tue Jun 27 2017      .SYNOPSIS...  Easterly winds today will shift more southeasterly tonight as  high pressure ridges westward along the Gulf coast. A disturbance  aloft and deep tropical moisture over the area will result in  scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms the next few  days. Winds and seas will be locally higher near thunderstorms.  By the weekend, high pressure and drier air aloft is expected to  limit shower and thunderstorm activity, with a light to moderate  onshore flow continuing.    $$
