BOATERS ON EXTENDED TRIPS SHOULD ROUTINELY MONITOR  SUBSEQUENT FORECAST ISSUANCES AND UPDATES FOR THE LATEST MARINE  WEATHER INFORMATION.    THE WAVE HEIGHTS ARE FORECAST AS SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT WHICH  IS THE AVERAGE OF THE HIGHEST ONE-THIRD OF THE WAVES.  THE HIGHEST WAVES MAY RARELY BE TWICE THE SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT.  THE WINDS AND SEAS NEAR THUNDERSTORMS MAY BE HIGHER THAN FORECAST.        GMZ856-232030-  COASTAL WATERS FROM BONITA BEACH TO ENGLEWOOD FL OUT 20 NM-  1005 AM EDT TUE MAY 23 2017    THIS AFTERNOON  SOUTH WINDS AROUND 15 KNOTS. SEAS 2 TO 3 FEET. BAY  AND INLAND WATERS A MODERATE CHOP.  TONIGHT  SOUTH WINDS AROUND 15 KNOTS. SEAS 2 TO 3 FEET. BAY AND  INLAND WATERS A MODERATE CHOP.  WEDNESDAY  SOUTH WINDS 10 TO 15 KNOTS INCREASING TO AROUND  20 KNOTS IN THE LATE MORNING AND AFTERNOON. SEAS 3 TO 5 FEET. BAY  AND INLAND WATERS CHOPPY. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS IN THE  MORNING. A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON.  WEDNESDAY NIGHT  SOUTHWEST WINDS AROUND 20 KNOTS. SEAS 5 TO  7 FEET. BAY AND INLAND WATERS CHOPPY. THUNDERSTORMS LIKELY. SHOWERS  AFTER MIDNIGHT.  THURSDAY  SOUTHWEST WINDS AROUND 20 KNOTS THEN BECOMING WEST 10 TO  15 KNOTS IN THE AFTERNOON. SEAS 5 TO 7 FEET. BAY AND INLAND WATERS  CHOPPY. THUNDERSTORMS LIKELY.  THURSDAY NIGHT  NORTHWEST WINDS AROUND 10 KNOTS DIMINISHING TO  AROUND 5 KNOTS AFTER MIDNIGHT. SEAS 2 TO 4 FEET. BAY AND INLAND  WATERS A LIGHT CHOP. A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS IN THE EVENING. A  SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS AFTER MIDNIGHT.  FRIDAY  NORTH WINDS AROUND 5 KNOTS. SEAS 2 TO 3 FEET. BAY AND  INLAND WATERS SMOOTH.  FRIDAY NIGHT  NORTHWEST WINDS AROUND 5 KNOTS THEN BECOMING NORTH  AFTER MIDNIGHT. SEAS 2 FEET.
