This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

An isolated thunderstorm will be possible Thursday afternoon into
Thursday evening across western and central Arkansas. The main
hazard with any storm that is able to become strong to possibly
severe would be gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

A chance for showers and thunderstorms does exist between Friday
and Wednesday; however, widespread severe weather is not expected.
A few storms may become strong to possibly severe with gusty winds
as the main hazard.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Arkansas...

  Black River At Pocahontas affecting Randolph County.

  Black River At Black Rock affecting Independence, Jackson and
  Lawrence Counties.

For the Black River...including Corning, Pocahontas, Black Rock...
Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

River forecasts are based on current conditions and rainfall
forecasted to occur over the next 24 hours. During periods of
flooding...Evening forecasts are reissued with updated rainfall
forecasts.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Black River at Pocahontas.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Agricultural lands along the river east
  and south of Pocahontas will be impacted by high water. Equipment
  and livestock should be moved to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.5
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage early Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
