This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Some isolated thunderstorms will remain possible into the evening
hours before chances gradually decrease overnight. The threat for
seeing strong to severe weather will remain low...but an isolated
strong thunderstorm could be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Thunderstorms are forecast again on Sunday off and on through
Wednesday. However...widespread severe weather is not expected at
this time. A few storms may become strong to possibly severe with
gusty winds as the main hazard...along with locally heavy
rainfall.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following river in Arkansas...

  Cache River Near Patterson affecting Woodruff and Jackson
  Counties.

For the Cache River...including Patterson...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

River forecasts are based on current conditions and rainfall
forecasted to occur over the next 24 hours. During periods of
flooding...Evening forecasts are reissued with updated rainfall
forecasts.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT TO EARLY
TUESDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cache River near Patterson.

* WHEN...From late Saturday night to early Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Low swampy timberland along the river
  begins to flood. Flood gates should be closed and equipment moved
  out of the low grounds along the river and tributaries.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 8.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.0
    feet early Sunday morning.
  - Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
