...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southwest Arkansas, southeast
Oklahoma and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A Flood Watch is in effect through Friday evening.

Widespread showers and thunderstorms expected today across the
ArkLaTex late this afternoon into the evening hours. Some strong
storms may produce gusty winds and small hail. In addition, locally
heavy rainfall could result in a threat for flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A Flood Watch is in effect through Friday evening.

Some storms may be severe on Friday with locally heavy rain,
damaging winds, large hail, and possibly an isolated tornado threat.
Otherwise, periods of showers and thunderstorms producing locally
heavy rainfall will be possible each day through the middle of next
week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed on Friday beginning before sunrise.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Arkansas, including the following
  counties, Howard, Little River, Miller and Sevier, southeast
  Oklahoma, including the following county, McCurtain, and northeast
  Texas, including the following counties, Bowie, Camp, Cass,
  Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Red River, Smith,
  Titus, Upshur and Wood.

* WHEN...Through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Excessive, heavy rainfall will continue across the Flood
    Watch area through tonight and into Friday with 2 to 4 inches
    of rainfall possible with isolated higher amounts. Soils
    remain very saturated from previous rainfall over the last
    week and thus, the flash flood threat will only increase
    overnight into Friday from additional forecasted rainfall.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
