This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Additional thunderstorms are expected develop, most likely during
the late afternoon and evening hours. Some storms could be strong
to severe with hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes
possible. Additionally, heavy rainfall is also expected with these
storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Showers and thunderstorms should be winding down Monday morning
across portions of southeastern Arkansas. A few storms could produce
damaging winds and large hail before the activity comes to an end.

Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms will return to the
forecast by Wednesday, persisting through much of the upcoming work
week. The main hazard with any of these storms would to be damaging
straight-line winds.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Arkansas...

  Ouachita River At Thatcher L&D affecting Union, Bradley and
  Calhoun Counties.

For the Ouachita River...including Jones Mill Dcp, Arkadelphia,
Camden, Thatcher L&D...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

River forecasts are based on current conditions and rainfall
forecasted to occur over the next 24 hours. During periods of
flooding...Evening forecasts are reissued with updated rainfall
forecasts.

* WHEN...From late tonight until further notice.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 78.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    just after midnight tonight and continue rising to 83.5 feet
    Friday evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 79.0 feet.
