This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Locations along and south of the I-40 corridor which includes
central and southern Arkansas will see the possibility of strong
to severe thunderstorms. The main hazards within severe
thunderstorms that do develop would be damaging wind gusts, a
tornado or two, sub-severe to borderline severe hail of 1 inch in
diameter (quarter-sized), and isolated flash flooding in areas
that see efficient rainfall producing storms or storms that train
over the same location leading to significant rainfall in a short
period of time.

Locations north of I-40 (northern Arkansas) may see strong
thunderstorms with the possibility of a severe thunderstorm or two.
The hazards would remain the same as those across central and
southern Arkansas; however, the lack of instability across
northern Arkansas will hinder severe weather overall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A chance for showers and thunderstorms does exist between Saturday and
Wednesday; however, widespread severe weather is not expected. A
few storms may become strong to possibly severe with gusty winds
as the main hazard.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
