.NOW...
Through 4 pm, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will wax
and wane as they drift west at 5 to 10 knots through the southeast
Gulf waters, the Straits of Florida off the Upper Keys, and nearshore
waters of the island chain. Mariner`s encountering the stronger
portions of this activity can expect bouts of heavy rainfall reducing
visibilities to less than 3 miles, wind gusts up to 20 to 25 knots,
and occasional lightning strikes. Island communities in the Upper
Keys from  Key Largo to Ocean reef may see an additional half an
inch of rainfall.
