This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Area rivers are experiencing flooding or will see flooding in the
coming days. Please see the latest Flood Statements and Flood
Warnings for details.

There is a Marginal Risk, or level 1 of 5, for severe weather late
tonight, mainly for our far western forecast area. Damaging wind
gusts and large hail are the primary threats, with a lower threat
of tornadoes. Heavy rain will also be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

There is also a Slight Risk, or level 2 of 5, for severe weather
Friday for areas along and east of Manchester Iowa to Ottumwa
Iowa line. Damaging winds, large hail, and an isolated tornado
will be the main threats.

There is yet another Slight Risk for severe weather on Sunday, for
areas along and south of Highway 30.

  Wapsipinicon River near Anamosa Shaw Rd affecting Jones, Linn and
  Cedar Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued by Friday morning at 1100 AM CDT.

* WHEN...From Friday morning to late Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 14.7 feet, Water affects the Camelot Campground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.7 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow morning to a crest of 15.5 feet early Saturday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday
    afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 14.5 feet.

  - At 9:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.3 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow evening to a crest of 13.0 feet early Saturday
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
