This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible late
tonight, mainly after midnight. Wind gusts to 60 mph and hail
around the size of nickels will be possible mainly west of Highway
283.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thunderstorms become more likely for much of the outlook area
Thursday afternoon through Friday morning as a frontal system
moves across the area. There is a Marginal Risk for severe weather
Thursday afternoon and evening, with large hail and damaging
wind possible. Specific details will depend on how much sunshine
we receive during the day. Locally heavy rainfall will also be
possible.

Off and on thunderstorm chances persist Friday through the
weekend, with overall highest chances seeming to favor the
evening and overnight hours Saturday and Sunday. Some of this
activity could be strong to severe, but predictability remains too
low for specific details this far out. If repeated rounds of
thunderstorms indeed occur over the same areas, then heavy
rainfall and localized flooding may also be possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
