Hazardous Weather Outlook...UPDATED National Weather Service Hastings NE 1117 AM CDT Mon Jun 3 2024 KSZ005>007-017>019-NEZ039>041-046>049-060>064-072>077-082>087- 041630- Phillips-Smith-Jewell-Rooks-Osborne-Mitchell-Valley-Greeley-Nance- Sherman-Howard-Merrick-Polk-Dawson-Buffalo-Hall-Hamilton-York- Gosper-Phelps-Kearney-Adams-Clay-Fillmore-Furnas-Harlan-Franklin- Webster-Nuckolls-Thayer- 1117 AM CDT Mon Jun 3 2024 This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and portions of north central Kansas. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight. Between midnight and sunrise early Tuesday morning, isolated to perhaps scattered thunderstorms will gradually develop into the area, generally from west-to-east. Although spotty instances of small hail cannot be totally ruled out, severe storms appear rather unlikely. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Tuesday morning into early afternoon, spotty thunderstorm activity will be possible almost anywhere in the area, but severe storms appear unlikely. Later Tuesday afternoon into the evening, especially between 4 and 9 PM, a few thunderstorms could develop along a cold front within the eastern and southeastern fringes of our area, which would mainly affect counties such as Fillmore, Nuckolls, Thayer, Jewell and Mitchell. Should any storms develop within these counties, they could be severe, capable of producing large hail and/or damaging winds. However, please note that better chances for storms and possible severe weather should focus slightly east and southeast of our coverage area altogether. Following a break in thunderstorm chances area-wide between late Tuesday evening and Thursday night, various, off-an-on chances for storms return to our area between Friday and Sunday. && More information may be obtained at the following web page: https://www.weather.gov/hastings $$ Pfannkuch
