Chances for thunderstorms will return to central and south central Kansas after 2 am. The storms are not expected to be severe, though may contain brief heavy downpours and gusty winds. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Additional chances of scattered thunderstorms could affect areas along and east of the Kansas Turnpike on Friday. Localized areas of heavy rainfall may lead to some minor flooding.
