This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A few isolated hit-or-miss thunderstorms are possible across the
region this afternoon through this evening. If storms develop, there
is a threat for large hail, damaging winds, and perhaps an isolated
tornado. This threat will be confined to this evening mainly west
of the Interstate 135.

During the overnight period, the thunderstorm chances increase from
the northwest. The main threat from this activity will be 50 to 65
mph winds. Saline, Marion and Chase counties are the most likely
counties to see this level activity. Counties to the west and south
are more likely to see strong thunderstorms during the overnight
with sub-severe hail and winds up to 55 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Increasing thunderstorm chances will impact the region Saturday
afternoon through night. There is potential for higher-end severe
weather, including very large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes.
Stay tuned as we continue to refine forecast details.

Lingering showers and thunderstorms are possible Sunday through
Sunday night, but severe weather appears unlikely.

After a mostly dry Monday and Tuesday, thunderstorm chances could
increase across the region by Wednesday of next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
