A line of showers and thunderstorms will move across Minnesota & Wisconsin this afternoon through this evening. The strongest storms may produce damaging winds, hail, and heavy rain. A tornado or two can not be ruled out as well. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Flooding along area rivers will increase through the week as heavy rain over the last few days continues to work through streams & tributaries into the main stem rivers. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...
Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Carver, Sibley and Scott
Counties.
Minnesota River at Henderson MN19 affecting Sibley, Le Sueur and
Scott Counties.
Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties.
Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Lac qui Parle
and Yellow Medicine Counties.
.The Minnesota River remains at high levels due to recent and
forecast rainfall over saturated soils. Upcoming dry weather after
today`s system will help keep flooding to minor impacts.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

agricultural buildings north and south of Henderson.

- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 930 AM CDT Tuesday was 732.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 732.5
feet on Saturday. It will then fall below flood stage early
next week.
