This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of eastern and
central Missouri as well as west central and southwest Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

There is a chance for thunderstorms across northeast and central
Missouri and west-central Illinois late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected, centered on Monday
afternoon and night. A few of the storms on Monday afternoon and
early evening could produce damaging winds and perhaps large hail.
Locally heavy and possibly excessive rainfall leading to flooding may
occur across a portion of the area on Monday night.

The chance of thunderstorms continues Tuesday into Wednesday, and
again Saturday.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...Illinois...

  Mississippi River at Canton.

  Mississippi River at Winfield.

  Mississippi River at Saverton.

  Mississippi River at Hannibal.

  Mississippi River at Clarksville.

  Mississippi River at Louisiana.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Hannibal.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, The Corps of Engineers begins flood fight
  procedures.  At this level, preparations are made to install two
  flood gates at Hill Street and Center Street if the forecast
  exceeds 20.5 feet.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 18.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:15 AM CDT Sunday was 18.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 17.8 feet
    Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
