This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited hail risk.
  Limited thunderstorm wind damage risk.
  Significant lightning risk.
  Elevated excessive rainfall risk

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms will move through the area this morning. A
few storms could produce hail to the size of quarters, damaging
winds and frequent lightning.

Widespread showers and thunderstorms will develop northwest of the
area this evening and will move into the area tonight through
early Wednesday morning. Large hail up to the size of quarters,
damaging winds and frequent lightning will be possible in the
strongest storms. Widespread severe weather is not expected at
this time.

The stronger storms will also produce heavy rainfall which may
lead to localized flash flooding.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

There is a 30 to 50 percent chance for thunderstorm chances this
upcoming weekend.
