This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas.

DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon
across portions of the area. A few of these storms could be strong
to marginally severe with locally heavy rainfall. Thunderstorms
that develop well west of the area may form into complex, with
storms potentially moving into eastern Oklahoma late tonight. A
few of these storms could also be strong to marginally severe.

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.
SATURDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
More widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected Thursday
night into Friday in association with a stronger upper wave with
the threat for heavy rainfall and localized flooding. There is
also a limited severe weather threat into Friday, mainly south of
I-40 where instability will be maximized.

Daily thunderstorm chances are expected this weekend through early
next week as west to northwest flow aloft continues over the southern
Plains. Scattered storms are forecast each day with at least a
marginal severe weather threat, including locally heavy rain.
