DISCUSSION...
A low pressure system aloft will bring scattered showers and
storms to the region today. A storm or two may become strong to
severe this afternoon and early evening, with a wind and hail
threat. Locally heavy rainfall is possible across western Arkansas
and neighboring far eastern Oklahoma, where the highest coverage
of showers and storms is expected.

SATURDAY and SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
THURSDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Expect at least some chance for storms over a portion of eastern
Oklahoma and western Arkansas thru the middle of next week. The
highest chances for storms are expected to be Sunday night into
Monday, and again Tuesday night into Wednesday. Overall severe
potential is limited.
