ONSET...This Morning. DISCUSSION... A low pressure system aloft will bring scattered showers and storms to the region today. A storm or two may become strong to severe this afternoon and early evening, with a wind and hail threat. Locally heavy rainfall is possible across western Arkansas and neighboring far eastern Oklahoma, where the highest coverage of showers and storms is expected.
