SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. RISK...Limited. AREA...West of highway 75. ONSET...After 3 PM. POOR VISIBILITY. RISK...Elevated. AREA...Portions of Eastern Oklahoma. ONSET...Ongoing...ending by mid-morning. DISCUSSION... Areas of fog will reduce visibilities across portions of eastern Oklahoma this morning to a mile or less in spots. The fog is expected to burn off by mid-morning. Isolated thunderstorms are expected this afternoon, mainly west of highway 75. There is a limited severe risk with these storms, with locally damaging wind the main threat. There is also some potential for a complex of storms to move into northeast Oklahoma after midnight tonight, again with a limited risk of severe wind. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Local Spotter Activation May Be Needed. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. SUNDAY thru THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential. FRIDAY...Heavy Rain Potential. EXTENDED DISCUSSION... Thunderstorm chances will continue daily from this weekend into much of next week. The higher chances and severe potential look to be in the late Sunday night into Monday timeframe, and again in the Tuesday night and Wednesday timeframe.
