This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Limited.
AREA... Mainly far southern Oklahoma.
ONSET...Mainly after midnight.

DISCUSSION...
Isolated thunderstorms could drift into far southern portions of Oklahoma
near the Red River late tonight. A few storms could also make their way into
northeast Oklahoma overnight as well. Severe potential will be low with any
storm, but locally heavy downpours will be possible.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
THURSDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Daily thunderstorm chances are expected across the area through
much of the week as northwesterly and westerly flow aloft develops
over the Plains. Not everywhere will see storms everyday, but at
least scattered storms are forecast across eastern Oklahoma and
into western Arkansas through the period. Some severe potential
will exist with any storms, along with the threat for heavy
rainfall and localized flooding concerns. Storm chances continue
into the weekend, when a possible frontal boundary could approach
the region and bring a more focused severe threat during this
time.
