Isolated thunderstorms may develop into far southeast Oklahoma
near the Red River late tonight. A few storms may also develop in
parts of northeast Oklahoma towards daybreak. Severe potential
will be low with any storm, but locally heavy downpours and small
hail will be possible.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Daily thunderstorm chances are expected across the area through
much of the week as northwest and west flow aloft develops over
the Plains. Not everywhere will see storms everyday, but at least
scattered storms are forecast across eastern Oklahoma and into
western Arkansas through the period. Some severe potential will
exist with any storms, along with the threat for heavy rainfall
and localized flooding concerns. Storm chances continue into the
weekend, when a frontal boundary may approach the region and bring
a more focused severe threat during this time.
