This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon along
a dryline across the western South Plains and far southwest Texas
Panhandle. Thunderstorms may also develop along a southwestward
moving outflow boundary across the Rolling Plains and eastern South
Plains however confidence on thunderstorm development along this
boundary is less certain. Thunderstorms will then expand in coverage
and shift eastward across the remainder of the area this evening. Some
storms may become severe with large hail up to the size of tennis
balls and damaging wind gusts to 80 mph will be the primary hazards,
but a tornado or two is also possible especially along the outflow
boundary.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

An isolated thunderstorm may be possible across the far southeast
Texas Panhandle and eastern Rolling Plains Monday afternoon. Storms
may become severe with the main threats being large hail and
damaging wind gusts.

Thunderstorm chances will return Thursday through Saturday. A few
strong to severe storms cannot be ruled out.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will likely be needed.
