Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon across the far southern Texas Panhandle, South Plains and Rolling Plains. Very large hail up to 2.5 inches, damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph, and a tornado or two. Additionally, locally very heavy rainfall may produce flash flooding, especially in the Rolling Plains. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. The chance for thunderstorms will continue into the weekend and into early next week.
