Isolated thunderstorms remain possible across parts of North Texas overnight, especially near and east of I-35. A few storms could become strong or severe with a threat for hail. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Additional storms are expected on Thursday with the best storm chances across North Texas. A few of the storms may be severe and also contain heavy rain. There is a low chance for thunderstorms Friday and Saturday. Though storm coverage will be isolated, any storm that develops may become severe. ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE THURSDAY NIGHT...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Most of North and Central Texas.
* WHEN...Through late Thursday night.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor-drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings may become flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Additional isolated rainfall totals of 2 to 3 inches possible
through Thursday evening.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
