This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Isolated thunderstorms may occur south of I-20 this afternoon and
tonight. Locally heavy rainfall and lightning will be the main
threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Daily storm chances continue through the middle of next week. Storms
may be strong to severe at times. Large hail and damaging winds will
continue to be the main threats.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

  North Bosque River Near Clifton affecting Bosque County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON TO TOMORROW MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...North Bosque River near Clifton.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Minor out of bank flow is expected along
  the river. Riverside road is closed in Clifton.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 16.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this afternoon to a crest of 24.1 feet. It will then fall
    below flood stage this evening or tonight.
