Areas of patchy fog are resulting in reduced visibility this morning, but expect conditions to quickly improve shortly after daybreak with increased heating. An advancing disturbance across North Texas this morning may bring isolated to scattered thunderstorms later today across the region, with the threat of a few strong to severe thunderstorms increasing along and south of I-20 by this afternoon into early this evening. Damaging wind gusts will be the primary threat with any of these storms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will persist during the latter half of the weekend and into early next week. Although thunderstorm chances continue later in the week, a gradual decrease in activity is expected due to an upper-level ridge expanding into the region from the southwest. * WHERE...Attoyac Bayou near Chireno.
* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Expect lowland flooding for the next
several days of the heavily wooded floodplain. Ranchers that have
cattle and equipment near the river should move them to higher
ground.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 12.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.0
feet Sunday morning.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
