Although widespread severe storms are not expected, a few of these storms may move into our western counties, and could reach severe levels. The main hazards are hail and damaging winds. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday More storms are possible on Sunday. Again, widespread severe storms are not expected but a few may approach severe levels. In addition, summer like heat will make a return to West Central Texas for the early to middle portions of the upcoming week. At 334 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Voca, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Brady, Voca, and Camp San Saba. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding.
