  Neches River Near Diboll affecting Angelina, Tyler, Polk, Trinity
  and Houston Counties.

For the Neches River...including Lake Palestine, Neches, Alto,
Diboll, Rockland...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River near Diboll.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding of boat ramps,
  paths, and trails.  Move livestock and equipment to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 13.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 PM CDT Saturday was 13.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 12.4 feet
    Thursday evening.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    13.2 feet on 04/28/1964.

  Angelina River Near Lufkin affecting Nacogdoches, Angelina and
  Cherokee Counties.

For the Angelina River...including Alto, Lufkin...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHERE...Angelina River near Lufkin.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 165.0 feet, Expect flooding to continue for several
  days with the majority of the gravel access roadway flooded.
  Boaters and four wheel-operators should use caution traversing
  both upstream and downstream on the Angelina River as currents can
  become swift and turbulent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 162.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 158.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:45 PM CDT Saturday was 162.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 163.6 feet
    Thursday evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 161.0 feet.
  - Flood History...No available flood history.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible tonight and into early
Sunday mainly across Louisiana. The strongest storms could produce
gusty winds and heavy downpours. Additional severe weather is not
anticipated through the rest of tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will persist during
the latter half of the weekend and into early next week. Although
thunderstorm chances continue later in the week, a gradual decrease
in activity is expected due to an upper-level ridge expanding into
the region from the southwest. Therefore, no organized threat of
hazardous weather is expected.
