...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 367 IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CDT THIS
EVENING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Louisiana, east
Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible through
this evening mainly south of the Interstate 30 corridor across East
Texas and into Louisiana. Damaging winds and large hail should be the
primary threats should any of these storms become severe.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will persist during
the latter half of the weekend and into early next week. Although
thunderstorm chances continue later in the week, a gradual decrease
in activity is expected due to an upper-level ridge expanding into
the region from the southwest. Therefore, no organized threat of
hazardous weather is expected.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will likely be needed this afternoon and into this
evening.
