A couple rounds of thunderstorms today. Some thunderstorms may become severe this morning and again in the afternoon/evening. Damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes are all possible. Moderate swim risk for southern WI beaches today. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Additional thunderstorms may occur Sunday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... WAUKESHA...EAST CENTRAL DANE...JEFFERSON AND SOUTHERN DODGE COUNTIES
THROUGH 1115 AM CDT...
At 1025 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Deerfield to Milton. Movement was
northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Sun Prairie, Watertown, Whitewater, Fort Atkinson, Jefferson,
Delafield, Lake Mills, Marshall, Horicon, Waterloo, Juneau, Wales,
Okauchee Lake, Oconomowoc, Ottawa, Johnson Creek, Deerfield, Dousman,
North Prairie, and Palmyra.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 94 between mile markers 247 and 287.
Wisconsin Highway 26 between mile markers 11 and 53.
