...DRY NORTH TO NORTHEASTERLY WINDS TO BRING ANOTHER DAY OF RED
FLAG WARNINGS ACROSS PARTS OF SOUTHCENTRAL ALASKA...

.NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS ARE CURRENTLY INCREASING OVER
SOUTHCENTRAL ALASKA...AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO THROUGH THE
DAY...PEAKING IN MOST LOCATIONS LATER THIS MORNING THROUGH EARLY
THIS AFTERNOON. THESE WINDS WILL COMBINE WITH THE ALREADY DRY
CONDITIONS TO PRODUCE CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS FROM THE
MAT-SU BOROUGH SOUTH TO THE WESTERN KENAI PENINSULA.

THIS EVENING FOR STRONG WIND OUT OF THE MATANUSKA RIVER VALLEY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ANCHORAGE HAS ISSUED A RED FLAG
WARNING FOR STRONG WIND...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS
MORNING TO 6 PM AKDT THIS EVENING.

* LOCATION...OUT OF THE MATANUSKA RIVER VALLEY SOUTH AND WEST
  THROUGH PALMER AND WASILLA.

* 20 FT WINDS...NORTHEAST 10 TO 25 MPH.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...AS LOW AS 18 TO 25 PERCENT.

* TEMPERATURES...RISING INTO THE UPPER 50S TO LOWER 60S BY MID TO
  LATE AFTERNOON.

* TIMING...WINDS WILL INCREASE THROUGH THE MORNING AND PEAK AROUND
  NOON BEFORE BEGINNING TO DIMINISH THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS
ARE IMMINENT OR OCCURRING NOW...OR WILL SHORTLY. IT IS DIRECTED
