THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE COUNTIES SERVED BY THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN BIRMINGHAM.

.DAY ONE...OUTLOOK THROUGH TONIGHT.

SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE SOUTHWESTERN PORTIONS OF THE
AREA LATE TONIGHT, GENERALLY AFTER 3 AM. THROUGH 6 AM, THE THREAT
AREA IS GENERALLY WEST OF A LINE FROM JASPER, TO WEST BLOCTON, TO
MARION, WITH THE HIGHEST THREAT SOUTH OF A LINE FROM WEST BLOCTON
TO GEIGER. THE PRIMARY THREAT WILL BE DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE
WINDS, BUT AN ISOLATED TORNADO IS ALSO POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS ALL OF CENTRAL ALABAMA SATURDAY
MORNING THROUGH NOON, WITH THE HIGHEST THREAT SOUTH OF I-20. ALL
MODES OF SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE POSSIBLE INCLUDING LARGE HAIL,
DAMAGING WINDS AND TORNADOES. THERE WILL LIKELY BE A LULL IN THE
ACTIVITY SATURDAY AFTERNOON, BUT IF ANY STORMS MANAGE TO DEVELOP,
THEY COULD BE SEVERE.

ANOTHER ROUND OF SEVERE STORMS IS POSSIBLE ACROSS ALL OF CENTRAL
ALABAMA SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING, GENERALLY FROM
MIDNIGHT TO 6AM, WITH THE GREATEST THREAT SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 85.
ALL MODES OF SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE POSSIBLE INCLUDING LARGE HAIL,
DAMAGING WINDS AND TORNADOES.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

ACTIVATION OF STORM SPOTTERS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT WILL BE
NEEDED TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING, AND POSSIBLY AGAIN EARLY
SUNDAY MORNING.
