THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE COUNTIES SERVED BY THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN BIRMINGHAM.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

THERE IS A LOW-CONFIDENCE...LOW-END THREAT FOR ISOLATED SEVERE STORMS WITH
DAMAGING WINDS...HAIL...AND A WEAK TORNADO OR TWO GENERALLY ALONG AND
SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 20 TOMORROW AFTERNOON FROM 1 PM UNTIL 6 PM. THE
THREAT AREA WILL SHIFT FURTHER SOUTH AND EAST AFTER 6 PM...LASTING
UNTIL 3 AM WEDNESDAY IN THE EXTREME SOUTHEAST.

THE GREATER THREAT WITH THIS SYSTEM IS SHIFTING TO HEAVY RAIN WITH
THE POTENTIAL FOR LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING. MOISTURE VALUES ARE
EXTREMELY HIGH FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR...AND MONDAY`S RAINFALL WILL
LEAD TO SATURATED CONDITIONS. THE THREAT WILL INCREASE WITH
TIME...WITH THE GREATEST THREAT WINDOW AFTER SUNSET ON TUESDAY
ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE INTERSTATE 85 CORRIDOR. URBAN AREAS WILL BE
PARTICULARLY VULNERABLE TO FLASH FLOODING.

ACTIVATION OF STORM SPOTTERS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT MAY BE
