.A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE CENTRAL GULF COAST REGION
MONDAY MORNING. STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS DEVELOP IN THE WAKE OF THE
FRONT AREA WIDE MONDAY AFTERNOON. THESE WINDS ARE FORECAST TO
PERSIST ACROSS THE IMMEDIATE COAST INTO MONDAY NIGHT.

  Alabama River Near Claiborne Dam affecting Clarke...Monroe and Wilcox Counties.


.Recent heavy rains have caused significant rises along the river.

...Flood Warning extended until Monday evening...The Flood Warning continues for
  the Alabama River Near Claiborne Dam
* From tomorrow morning until Monday evening.
* At 6PM Sunday the stage was 41.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 42 feet.
* Forecast to rise above flood stage by tomorrow morning and continue to rise
  near 42 feet by tomorrow morning. The river will fall below flood stage by
  tomorrow evening.
* At 40 feet...Considerable flooding of agricultural land in the area.
* At 35 feet...Flooding of pastureland along the lower Alabama River.
* At 27 feet...Flooding of low lying area. Roads near the confluence of the
  Alabama and Tombigbee Rivers begin to flood.
